Administration Assistant, Cambridge

Purpose of the Role

To work collaboratively with our Lab Team to execute our client offering and be the first point of contact for our existing client base.

Key Accountabilities

  • Data entry onto in house systems
  • Observe and records vital data and administration of clinical information as required
  • Operate, maintain, and clean the laboratory and research equipment
  • Arrange to send samples for further testing when needed
  • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements and good document practice
  • To work within agreed quality standards of service delivery and turnaround times under the supervision of your line manager
  • Provide an efficient and effective office administrative service projecting a professional image to clients
  • Aid process improvement within the department
  • To follow the leadership of the Admin Supervisors and promptly report risk and solutions to the relevant person
  • Ad Hoc admin duties

Essential Experience / Qualifications

  • Qualified to GCSE level as a minimum
  • Proven experience in completing tasks to a deadline and raising concern where applicable
  • A good team player, proactive and flexible in adapting to a changing
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of working on several projects at one time and withholding strong attention to detail and process compliance
  • Minimum GCSE grade C in Maths & English
  • Methodically minded with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to aid process improvement within the department
  • A confident phone presence with the ability to write in a clear legible manner
  • Moderate skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Holds a higher education qualification in a relevant scientific subject (desirable)
