Travel Required: Yes, to other sites as and when required. Fuel can be claimed back via internal expenses policy at the statutory rate per mile.

Purpose of the Role

The HR Director will lead the development of the people plan in line with the organisational objectives to ensure sustainable growth within a regulatory environment and support the needs of customers. Lead the development and implementation of robust people practices, processes and policies to establish Circular 1 Health as an employer of choice, recruit and retain the best talent. This is a blend of operational and strategic accountabilities whilst managing third-party suppliers who compliment the internal capabilities and bring expertise during a rapid period of growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work collaboratively with the senior management team and the board to develop a people plan that supports the growth ambitions of the company balancing both legislative requirements, foundational and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop the values and behaviours required to sustainably grow the company and develop HR practices true to the values, embed them and work with the senior management team to ensure these are being role modelled every day
  • Work with the CEO to ensure the company has the right organisational design and structure in place including future workforce planning
  • Develop a recruitment strategy that will not only supports the immediate workforce demands but also look at the talent pipeline required to meet future demands including working with third party companies
  • Develop a structured reward and recognition strategy including but not limited to a relevant salary structure for each role, work levels and associated benefits and recognition initiatives
  • Develop a structured development programme for managers and leaders to drive a high performance culture
  • Support the continuous personal development of employees across the organisation with a “just in time” and “int the flow of work” learning offering
  • Develop and implement an inclusion and wellbeing strategy to drive a high performing team
  • Ensure the employee experience enables a high-performance culture and the company can recruit and retain the best talent
  • Ensure all operational activities are carried out in a timely manner to enable the company to meet customer needs.
  • Manager third party suppliers to ensure efficient and effective services are maintained
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues across the company to make sure they are resolved swiftly and in line with legislative requirements

Essential Experience / Qualifications

  • Strategic and operational financial experience within a high growth and regulatory environment
  • Strategic and operational HR experience within a high growth and regulatory environment
  • CIPD qualification level 5 or above
  • Significant experience of working with senior management teams including working directly with company directors
  • Degree in HR management or other business-related subject
  • Understanding of working towards and maintaining ISO accreditations
